How to Get Involved in the Translation Theme Semester
Students
- Sign up for theme-semester related courses.
- Come to theme semester-related events, especially the North Quad Translation Mondays.
- Submit a proposal. Students (at least 3 undergraduates working together as a planning team, or representatives of an existing undergraduate group) may request seed funding up to $500, to organize a student event or activity related to translation during the Theme Semester.
- Post to our blog, for example about courses you are taking or translation-related events you have attended. Sign in here to post.
- Play That Translation Game!
- Enter translation contests.
- Check us out on Twitter.
Faculty
- Come to theme semester-related events.
- Submit a proposal. Faculty members teaching a course listed for the Theme Semester may request seed funding up to $500, to organize a special event or to support student activities related to the course.
- Post to our blog, for example about courses you are teaching or events you are organizing. Sign in here to post.
- Check us out on Twitter.
Departments
- Departments and other units at the University of Michigan may request seed funding up to $1000, to coordinate and co-sponsor a campus event related to translation during the Theme Semester. If you would like to submit a proposal, please submit more detailed information here.
