Do you want to create your own translation event? We encourage ideas for campus activities related to the Translation Theme Semester!

If you would like to list a translation event on our theme semester calendar, please contact Patrick Tonks.

If you need funding for your translation event, you may submit a proposal below. Our funding committee will review proposals on a first-come, first-served basis, until funds run out:

Students (at least 3 undergraduates working together as a planning team, or representatives of an existing undergraduate group) may request seed funding up to $500, to organize a student event or activity related to translation during the Theme Semester.

Faculty members teaching a course listed for the Theme Semester may request seed funding up to $500, to organize a special event or to support student activities related to the course.

Departments and other units at the University of Michigan may request seed funding up to $1000, to coordinate and co-sponsor a campus event related to translation during the Theme Semester.
